What can we do for you?

We can transfer your printed photographs into digital form. This will give them a new lease of life.

We convert images into internationally recognised photographic formats that will allow you to display your images in a wide variety of ways. For example you would be able to put them into digital photo frames for a wonderful present to your nearest and dearest. You could email them to family and friends, set up a photo gallery online, use them to prepare a personalised gift such as a calendar or a multitude of other imaginative options.

How do we do it?

We scan the images using state of the art photo scanning technology. We then process them using industry standard software to clean and sharpen them – all at no extra cost.

We scan at 300 dots per inch (dpi) for good quality output that will allow some upscaling onto 42 inch TVs, as well as display at the original size. Scanning at 300dpi will allow images to be faithfully reproduced on most photo frames.

We collect free of charge on the Scottish mainland within 20 miles of Ayr town centre.

We collect twice per week, on Monday and Friday evenings between 6pm and 8pm. Scanned images are returned through the post.

Once they are in digital form you can share them as widely and often as you want. Fifty aunts, uncles brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and grandchildren? No worries - you can send them all copies of your new digital images almost as easily as it is to send one.

Payment

We use Paypal for all our payments. This provides complete security for your payment details as all payment handling is carried out on PayPal’s own site. You do not have to be a member of Paypal in order to make payments.
